We have been bringing our cat Ted since he was a kitten to Padside Cattery, on our first visit we were impressed with the facilities that Padside Cattery has to offer, with underfloor heating and airy outside spaces for Ted to roam around in, it feels like he is going on a 5 star holiday every time he visits. We were particularly impressed with Jill the owner who goes the extra mile to ensure Ted has a great stay, tending to his special dietary needs and was more than happy to send us pictures, keeping us up to date on Ted’s time at Padside Cattery. I would not hesitate to recommend Padside Cattery to anyone.

“We had been searching for a new cattery for a long time & had been unsuccessful in finding one where we would have been happy to leave our three cats-until we found Padside Cattery. Yes it’s a 40 minute drive from our house but there really was no other cattery we’d visited that compared. Needless to say we’ve used the cattery ever since and wouldn’t ever consider leaving our cats with anyone else. The new unit provides very spacious, clean and temperature controlled pens, most with outdoor runs. As for Jill, not only does she have the veterinary experience that gives us peace of mind with our two old cats, she actually spends a lot of one to one time with them, even persevering with our third petulant anti-cattery cat! Our old ones especially need attention and cuddles and need a nudge to ensure they eat. Jill provides that and more. Nothing is too much trouble.....& we always get an update with pictures whilst we’re away. Everything we could ask for.”

We have used Padside Cattery for about 12 years now and we and, our cats, have always been happy with their stays. We travel quite a distance to get to Padside and have on a couple of occasions have tried catteries closer to home but the cats seemed to come back being very unhappy which is not the case when they go to Padside hence we make the journeys. Jill's facilities have always been well looked after and comfortable but the new cattery is absolutely spotless and incorporates all the latest technical changes plus weaves in improvements that Jill has always wanted her "guests" to have.

We believe that the difference between Padside and other catteries is Jill herself as she really cares about cats and it shows in the way that the cats settle in and enjoy being there. We are happy to recommend Padside Cattery.

Jill looked after our 15 year old cat Mist for more than 3 months while we were out of the country. It would not be an exaggeration to say that Jill looked after Mist as if he was her own, providing the best care and attention to all his needs! When we were reunited with our cat he looked very happy and content, very healthy and despite his old age his coat was amazing......

All in all an excellent place for any cat owner, even the fussiest ones like ourselves! Look no further, you will not be disappointed!

Wow! If you are looking for a 5* cattery then you have found it, a purpose built cattery on scenic farm land! Jill was wonderful, she settled both my cats in so well! They are both quite nervous, and she even managed to have Phoebe on her knee by the end of the week! Jill clearly has a love and passion for all the cats she takes care of! What a wonderful place, thank you so much Jill.
